Architect and urban designer, president of the Architecture et Maîtres d’Ouvrage association, and SEO at Martin Duplantier Architectes. Based in France and Ukraine, he works on a variety of projects including campuses, housing, public facilities, urban design, museums, and offices, with no geographical boundaries.
Accomplished Lithuanian architect, member of the Prize’s Board of Experts, and Chair of the "Solidarity with Ukraine" Task Force in the Architects Council of Europe. President of the Architects Association of Lithuania (AAL) since 2017. President of the Baltic Architecture Unions’ Association (BAUA) since 2016.
CEO of WorldStartup, a Netherlands-based global platform for social and impact-driven entrepreneurship. As a mentor, Gerrit Jan supports stakeholders by developing new programs and facilities. At WorldStartup, he fosters innovation and collaboration, empowering entrepreneurs to create lasting impact.
